English Club

The English Club is an initiative taken by our school to increase the communication skills of the students.

The Club helps to boost the confidence in students so that they can freely communicate. It also provides students an open fora to learn English with fun helping them to improve their English language skills.

As an act of inspiring students towards English learning, activities like Debates, Extempore, Just a Minute, War of Words,The Power of Verbalism , Rebus, Anagrams, Antigrams Drama help in showcasing the hidden and create talents of the students.

The Club paves the way to students to build up their personality, discover, understand and become themselves and develop their cultural competences.

Tamil Club

The Tamil Club of St. Joseph’s Anglo-Indian Girls’ Higher Secondary School celebrates the richness, beauty, and cultural heritage of the Tamil language. As one of the world’s oldest and most poetic languages, Tamil carries stories, wisdom, and traditions that continue to inspire generations.

The club provides a lively platform for students to explore Tamil literature, poetry, drama, folk art, and classical values. Through activities such as elocution, poetry recitation, storytelling, Thirukkural interpretation, oratorical competitions, and cultural performances, students develop confidence in speaking, writing, and expressing themselves in Tamil.

Science Club

The Science Club actively promoted scientific interest among students through various activities conducted during the year. The club began with the Science Club inaugural, where members were introduced to the objectives and planned programmes.

A Science Exhibition was organised, giving students an opportunity to display their models and innovative ideas. The club also maintained a Science Corner in each classroom, showcasing facts, charts, and student-made materials to encourage daily learning.

Students further participated in several competitions conducted by different schools and colleges, gaining valuable experience and exposure.
